Integral to the philosophy of care at Mankato Lutheran Home, a skilled nursing facility with all private rooms with baths, is the belief that every person has unique physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. This "whole person" approach can be seen in the special activities planned for residents; in the nursing approach which focuses on the wellness of each individual; in the ecumenical worship services led by community clergy in our own chapel; and in the home environment promoted throughout the facility with living rooms, courtyards, a luxurious dining room and many resident common areas.

The assisted living program at Mankato Lutheran Homes is designed to provide supportive services to individuals who can independently manage the activities of daily living. We offer

• Carpeted apartments and suites with professional window treatments, air conditioning, cable TV access, a private bathroom and kitchenettes in apartments.
• Regular medication ordering and set up by a licensed nurse

Mankato Lutheran Home Adult Day Services provide care not only for frail older adults who live at home, but also provide respite and support for caregivers. The programs provide a structured daily schedule; individualized care plans; nutritious meals; an atmosphere of social and spiritual enrichment and a circle of new friends.

Mankato Lutheran Home Care is a Medicare Certified Agency. We bring our commitment of care, compassion, and gracious hospitality into your home. Many patients who in the past may have required extended hospital or nursing home care, can now receive the care they need at home.

Mankato Lutheran Home Care offers a variety of services that can be tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. All our Home Health Aides(HHA's) are well trained and State of Minnesota certified. Out HHA staff provides assistance with bathing, dressing, housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, medications and other specialized care. All of our services are provided under the supervision of a registered nurse and your physician.

Lifeline is a personal response system that helps older adults or disabled persons maintain their independence. In their home the user can call for help simply by pushing a small "help" button. The call is received by a response center where monitoring personnel will arrange for appropriate help.
